Syrah - Désir

Syrah Désir

Tasting

Drawn by the production and preparation of the Syrah grape variety, but also delighted by various earlier tastings, we decided to plant one plot of vines with the Syrah grape variety in 2012 so as to produce our own wine and diversify our range.
Cold-vinified for 20–25 days then matured in half-hogsheads (500 litre oak casks), this gives it an aromatic complexity and a finesse in its tannins that are powerful yet silky, accompanied by hints of pepper and aromas of violets.
To enjoy with lamb chops, poultry pâté, roast duck, as well as goat’s cheeses
